February
Frosty carpet to start the day, but with warm syrupy sunshine, trickling through the trees. The blackbirds and robins were having a practice concert for the dawn chorus. The rooks added a discordant bass line to the tune.
Autumns scattered attire was frost rimed from the creeping fingers of Jack. Breath condensed and became the only clouds under the clear sky.
A hungry squirrel searched in vain for an acorn stash, watched by the bright eye of a blue banded jay. And the woodpecker laughed as he sine waved across the clearing.
